# 7 playing with editing

christi doll....i'm just playing a bit here...i tried to enhance the color and was fooling around with some of the adjustment buttons.      i arrived at an image i like better but i'm not sure if that new one is the one that transferred or if i simply ended up with the original once i downloaded.......

Week 7 [08-09]

So over the past few weeks as the learning curve has been climbing, I decided that the absolute scariest thing to do would be to attempt some type of "self-portrait." I've never really cared for pictures of myself, and figured that I'd never attempt it.

So that's what I did.

And thank goodness, because this week was a fast one! I need to start working on next week's TOMORROW!!!

It's a tad blurry...I had a teeny-tiny bit of help from Cole when it came to getting a total head-on shot, and then adjusted brightness and contrast levels as I'm finding I like bright, colorful photos.

Still not a huge fan of it, but it is what it is and I tried something I was afraid of, so I guess that's a plus. :)

woa doll.........this was a close call!     

 i intended  to shoot some pics of ice on the water this week but never got down there.     today was jammed packed and i really didn't have anything yet.    we we're on our way from one event to another..........i looked up as we were stopped and saw my  'shot' !!!!

Wow...I didn't know if I was going to make it this week, after having such a crazy past few days. I'm still not feeling the greatest, and I think once Friday happened, the anxiety that I'd felt for the past several months all came crashing down. I've been EXHAUSTED!!! But, thankfully, I was able to find myself in the right place at the right time for this one. It's the one of the paintings that Cole did for our wedding with some crazy insane light being cast on it through a chandelier. I couldn't resist... :)

this lil writing birthed out of playing with a whole new avenue of thinking regarding  the notion of 'stacking'  and it's content was influenced by a recent suicide of a young man and a troubled young marriage that we became aware of.

and

(that's me with this new angle of stacking.....)    seems a lil more vulnerable to share a writing than an actual stacking of items !!

As usual, I couldn't decide which I liked the best...

vertical lines

sweetie...i thot after that i wanted to include the original colored shot in the manner in which it was....vertical cloths with the shadows being more horizontal       i think i like this version over the other  but wanted to submit that first one that way to have an identical composition in  contrast to the black and white because i definitely like the black and white in the up and down pose

have a great sunday...hope it involves some play.....after all, it is super bowl sunday!
