it's crisper, sharper and a tad 'brighter'......
kind of funny that i say that in light of your discovery that you are drawn to more 'colorful' compositions!!!
mine tend to be not very colorful !!!!!
i think i'd have to say...i've found myself being drawn more to subtle, textural, linear elements rather than noticing color so much.....interesting: i've never noticed until now.......i wonder, if for me, that might be a bit because we are in the winter season and when i see beauty all around me --- it's not in the color ( that is basically absent !! teehee) we'll see what happens when we get to spring......
isn't it fun to learn more about ourselves? ..... hey, maybe one of my exercises will be to treat you to a very colorful entry............? !

oh yeah! i liked the original, but the subtle changes that you did make a huge difference! i'm also very appreciative of the "waiting" parallel--in a car and in life! :)
it doesn't surprise me in the least that you're drawn to textures over colors (at least for now)--i guess i've always been under the impression that you create more "sculpted" pieces rather than pictures. maybe? i dunno...heehee...
I KNOW, I KNOW ( about the waiting aspect of my shot)....... nothing is 'incidental' with our father !!!!
i esp. love the hand too.......when i feel myself rising to.... 'doing' something to come to a decision regarding love's timing of retirement from the base......i think of that hand, kind of smile and say ' ok, ok' ....
